“ I always have a good time when I come to the Shark Bar; the staff is friendly, the food taste good , amazing ambiance and awesome entertainment... ”
“ Don't eat in MD much, but tried Sharkbar in Waldorf OMG this place has good vibe and DJ. The food was amazing and plentiful. Shrimp and grits were off the hook, crab cakes, salads and drinks were amazing. I will be returning. Note they add gratuity to your check. Mgr Nicole will make sure you're taken care of ”
“ On a busy Saturday at 9:30, my husband and I arrived at the restaurant and presented our IDs for a search. The security personnel were courteous and professional when my husband accidentally brought his gun with him (hence the fourth star). We then put our names on the waitlist for a 90-minute table, ordered drinks from the bar, and waited. Although the live band added a nice touch to the restaurant, the speakers were too loud, requiring us to speak directly into each other's ears to be heard. A person who appeared to be either the owner or the manager kept blocking the walking paths as he greeted other patrons, which became frustrating for both the staff and me. Eventually, I got tired of waiting and squeezed through. Despite the high prices, our drinks were potent and our food was good. I preferred my husband's burger over my shrimp and grits. In the future, I would come back to this restaurant but bring earplugs. ”
“ So Bae and I decided to step out in the dorf and he wanted to come here. We arrived, got great parking (though tight squeeze) and headed in. There was a $20 cover fee per person (FYSA). There were several cops at the hostess stand. Bae made a joke about them seating us, but they didn't think it was funny :). A host soon came over and sat us by the stage and next to the speaker. It was LOUD. Like loud where you can't hear the person beside you. You sit there when you are avoiding conversation. Obviously bae asked if we could switch tables. We were then relocated to a both along the wall by the entrance. It was a good "people watching spot". Also, we could hear each other a little more clearly and I only say a little because we ordered food and I can only assume our server miss heard my boyfriend and brought him fried shrimp instead of shrimp and grits. I ordered the Strawberry LIT (Long Island Ice Tea for you folks not from the south). It was everything I wanted and more for $13. I mean it had liquor in it! I was baby sitting for a bit. It did it's job. I also had buffalo wings which were ok. I would go back, but I also need to remember it's giving more of a restaurant layout, but party vibe. ”
“ Let me start off by saying SharkBar is very hit or miss. I've been here before and it took our food forever to come out (I'm talking almost an hour). But there are other times I've visited and didn't have any problems with how fast they were pushing food out of the kitchen. When it comes to service do yourself a favor and ask for Tye (hopefully I spelled that right). He always provides exemplary service with a smile! On the weekend there's more than likely going to be a go-go band there so be sure to get there before 9:00pm so you won't have to pay the $20-$40 cover. We went to see Still Familiar, and they did not disappoint. The drinks were plentiful and strong, the food was good, and the vibe was right. Will be back again to support this local bar. ”
